About the Club:

The salle offers private and group lessons for fencers of all levels, competitive and recreational. Fencers from the salle compete locally and nationally. The salle hosts a number of tournaments during the fencing season. For a listing of competitions click on the Tournaments link.

The club is run and coached by Bernard Desautels, Moniteur (USFCA). Bernie is a Level IV coach. To attain this certification level, he has attended Coaches' College for fencing at the Olympic Training Center located in Colorado.

Pittsfield/Dalton Location:

From West: Rt. 20 into Pittsfield, then Rt. 9 (it winds through the city) into Dalton.

From South: Taconic Pkwy to Thruway East, to Rt. 22 North, to Rt. 20 East. See above.

From North:  Rt. 7 South to Rt. 9 East to Dalton.

The club is not far inside Dalton, on left in 3-story brick building across from community center. Center front stairway, top floor.

Great Barrington Location:

BBFA now offers classes on Tuesday in Great Barrington at Fitness 21 off Rt. 7. To set up a lesson at this location and for detailed directions please contact us for information.
