About the Club:

Our motto: “Fencing for all”. Our objective is to popularize fencing at grass roots level by providing individual and group instruction for recreational and competitive sabre fencers. Fencers of all ages and levels of skill are welcome. Our plans for the nearest future include individual and group lessons for recreational and competitive foil fencers.

Directions:

From the North:

From southbound Northway (I-87), take exit 9 to Rt. 146 West, toward Schenectady (right turn on the ramp) and follow Rt. 146 to the intersection with Balltown Rd. Turn left into Balltown Rd. and follow Balltown Rd. to the first traffic light, past the Mohawk Bridge. At this junction, turn right into Van Vranken Avenue and follow it to ”Y” intersection with traffic light. At the “Y” intersection, bear left to stay on Van Vranken Avenue.  Continue on Van Vranken Avenue until you see number 1840, the St. Anthony’s Early Childhood Center is on your left hand side. Turn left into Raymond Street (right before the Center’s building) and turn immediately right into the Center’s parking area. The fencing Salle is in the cafeteria.

From the South:

From northbound Northway (I-87), take exit 9 to Rt. 146 West, toward Schenectady (left hand turn) and follow Rt. 146 to intersection with Balltown Rd. Follow the rest of directions as from the North.

From the West:

From eastbound I-90 (NY Thruway), take exit 26 to enter I-890 East Follow I-890 to Exit 4C - Erie Blvd. Enter Erie Blvd. and follow it to Seneca Street (approx. 1.8 miles) Turn right into Seneca Street and after two blocks turn left into Van Vranken Ave. St. Anthony’s Early Childhood Center will be on your right hand side, at the end of the block.

From the East:

From westbound I-90 (NY Thruway), take exit 25 to enter I-890 West Follow I-890 to Exit 4C - Erie Blvd. Enter Erie Blvd. and follow it to Seneca Street (approx. 1.8 miles) Turn right into Seneca Street and after two blocks turn left into Van Vranken Ave. St. Anthony’s Early Childhood Center will be on your right hand side, at the end of the block
